Diament Building

Just as an outdated home sometimes needs more than a fresh coat of paint, an established brand can reach a point where a few cosmetic updates simply won’t do. For Diament Builders, the quality of the work had long since outgrown the brand representing it.

Known for beautifully crafted, high-end homes in the Charleston area, builder Evan Diament needed an identity that better reflected the thoughtful craftsmanship, architectural detail and highly personal approach behind his work. We set out to uncover what already made the company distinctive and translate it into a more sophisticated, cohesive brand.

We began with Whitefox’s client collaboration worksheets and a series of discovery conversations to dig into the company’s history, clientele, aesthetic and long-term goals. The result was a visual direction that feels architectural without becoming overly technical, refined without feeling precious, and custom without losing the personality of the small, tight-knit team behind the work.

At the center of the new identity is a hand-drawn logo inspired by an original sketch from renowned Charleston architect Beau Clowney. The illustration captures the craftsmanship and attention to detail that define Evan’s approach to building, while giving Diament Builders an identity that feels distinctly its own. Paired with understated typography and a restrained palette, the finished brand strikes a balance between old-school craftsmanship and modern luxury.

With the new brand established, the next project was an equally important renovation: the Diament Builders website. The existing site no longer represented the caliber of homes the company was building or the clientele it was serving. For a luxury residential builder, that disconnect matters.

We designed a custom website around a simple, classic palette, generous white space, and strong architectural imagery. The result is a modern, highly visual website that serves as both a portfolio and an introduction to the Diament Builders experience. It gives prospective clients an immediate sense of the quality of the company’s work while creating a digital presence that feels appropriate for Charleston’s luxury residential market.

Once the new identity and website were in place, we extended the Diament Builders brand across the everyday touchpoints clients, architects, subcontractors and neighbors would encounter in the real world. Business cards, job-site signage, hats, T-shirts and other branded pieces became an opportunity to carry the concept beyond the traditional logo-on-everything approach.

For the business cards, we took inspiration from building permit forms, incorporating graphic details and approval-style stamps that give the cards personality while connecting them directly to the industry. Outdoor signage borrows its visual language from architectural drawings and plans, creating another subtle nod to the process behind the finished homes.

What began as a rebrand ultimately became a complete visual system for Diament Builders, spanning logo design, website design, print collateral, apparel and environmental graphics. Each piece has its own personality, but everything traces back to the same idea: thoughtful design, exceptional craftsmanship and an appreciation for the details.

Jessica doesn't charge enough for the level of service and design she provides.
